Noah is our little troublemaker who sneaks his way into everyone's heart. Him and his sister Mary have been with us ever since they were tiny puppies and have earned themselves the nickname "the sharks" due to how feisty they get with each other when playing ā sometimes all we hear is teeth snapping (all in good fun, of course).
Noah is usually the first one to greet new people, jumping up and giving kisses. You could call him forward and cheeky. He loves playing with other dogs and can be a bit rough (well, overexcited, really) at times but if another dog tells him off for being too much, he gets all submissive and sweet. That is also how he approaches meeting new dogs so generally he should be able to get along with everyone.
Noah does not like sharing his toys (or food) with other dogs and has been known to steal other dogs' toys as well. He gets a bit growly with us from time to time when we try to take things he's not supposed to have away from him but that's something a bit of training can fix. He also doesn't seem to display any resource guarding issues as long as he is the only dog in a room, so potentially this issue could resolve itself all on its own simply by moving out of the busy shelter environment.
Noah enjoys going on walks and exploring new things though he would definitely profit from learning some proper leash-walking skills. Since he doesn't get to go on walks often everytime he gets to go of course the excitement takes over. We definitely recommend working with a trainer to set Noah up for success!
Noah isn't always over-the-top though. He also gets into cuddly moods where he falls asleep with his head in our hands or cuddled up in someone's lap. Honestly, Noah is a soft boy with some jagged edges that just add to his charm. If you are looking for a diamond in the rough there's no one who fits that description better than this charming young man!
