Dotty

Dotty was a Kalkan street dog, known by many as she loved greeting people around town. She was first spotted abandoned as a puppy, with her skin growing over the collar she had on. Dotty had surgery to have it removed, but was put back in the streets, where she was also being looked after.

Her life was about to change though, when after some complaints about her chasing bikes and committing the oh-so-awful crime of trying to play with people, it was decided she had to be taken to the super overcrowded municipal shelter in Kas – knowing her for over a year, we just couldn't let it happen and got her out of there!

Last time we took the gorgeous girl to the vets for some grooming, she charmed everyone with her glorious coat, beautiful green eyes and wagging tail at everyone who walked in! Dotty is a big girl, but absolutely soft 🥰 She's settled in fine with us, but nothing compares to getting a home of her own — where she could freely be her playful and cuddly self, getting back all the attention she deserves 💛 Though Dotty is very playful, cuddly, calm and very social with most dogs, she can be a bit dominant towards some specific others at times, which is why she needs either an experienced owner or a home in which she is the only pet.
