Nala

Nala is one of the most excited dogs on new volunteer welcoming days and definitely has a spot on our doggy podium for best hugs. She's smart and loves playing, but we'd prefer to home her as an only dog as she can be a bit bossy sometimes. Nala really enjoys her walks and is really good on the lead each time we go out (one volunteer even took Nala with her to go running), which makes us wonder how well she'd do with proper one to one attention.

Nala had a rough start, being rescued after someone witnessed a man kicking her when she was only a puppy. But that's far in the past, she knows she's safe and loved now and that it only gets better from here! Nala already housetrained herself, all that's missing is the right home.
